TEA TIME!

Since I can't think of anymore artists I'll meet at the UK Web & Mini Comix things... I thought of.. TEA!

The lil' sugar cube is bathing in it! XD

I'm pretty sure I don't have that much time for sightseeing in London, so I'll just shop a little in the Canary Wharf and go to Forbidden Planet... I dunno....

Which reminds me, I really hope Side A arrives tomorrow... Because on Friday I'll already be at London... :(

Gift Gif 34: Katerina of Gunnerkrigg Court

This is Kat of Gunnerkrigg Court.

I also did Antimony a while ago...

Hmm, this is one of my first Gift Gifs... Have I improved?

So far, I think that covers all the webcomic whose artists I should meet at the UK con, but I might do some print comic artists? I dunno... :P

Gift Gif 33: SOUND OF DOOM!

This is the Sound of Doom guy from Stuff Sucks

I have no idea if he looks O.K. or not... maybe I'm better at girl gift gifs?

Gift Gifs Sale! Two for the price of one! Smiles are free! :D

Smile is an autobiographical webcomic about Raina Telegemeier's youth.

I hope I didn't overdo the smile...

This is Esther, the young goth from Scary Go Round.

I have no idea if she turned out right or not...

Gift gifs galore! Trio of.. Death?

I've clearly lost it this time... I'm going to try to do gift gifts of all the artists I hope to meet at the UK Web & Mini Comix Thing!

And because since I'll be in the UK next week and I won't have my PC (GASP!), I have to overcompensate! :P

This is Dan McNinja, Dr. McNinja's Dad!

With his face covered by the ninja mask, I had to choose the father just because the stache makes his face less bare.

This is Megan of AfterStrife

Which takes places after the end of HOUSD

I was lucky enough to get a preview comic of AfterStrife at BICS...

Is it me, or did this turn out pretty good?

This is Beaver, from Beaver & Steve!

Shake that tail! XD

Pixel Puns: Potty Humor!

Potty humor! YAY!

In case you couldn't tell, the pot that looks high is a smoking pot, and the other is a crackpot!

The smoke flow isn't perfect though...

Pixel Puns: Fantastic Floor!

FUZZ ON! XD

No villain can defeat his ultra fuzziness! SOO SOFT AND FUZZY! Urge to be evil... dissapearing...

I'm doing the final steps to get ready for the UK Web & Mini Comix Thing, but there is one thing I must know....

What do all you con goers do to prevent from getting... "the con plague"? I got it in the Birmingham International Comics Show, but I had some medicine and got over it more or less, but it would be nice if I didn't get it at ALL t at this con!

Shake your buns!

Yeah! Shake that tasty thing! XD

Today I listened to first audiobook that wasn't really a podcast, the Discoworld novel Wintersmith, which was just as awesome as I expected!

I also seem to have been mentioned, but not by name, in the Gigcast.... EEP!

I had a phone call from a good friend, who actually went to the recent Manga Expo in Madrid, like I expected, it was just a bunch of merch stores and people dressed up as Naruto and Bleach characters...

Like all my other friends, he keeps saying I'm the only person he knows that reads webcomics... :/

Hmm... comics!

This is practically how I spent the day today, reading Strangers in Paradise... Oooh... Mmm.... Comics GOOD!

I also finally decided to subscribe to Audible, and chose the Discworld novel Wintersmith to spend my first credit...

I also read an article from the Game Developers Conference where they said that "Hardcore" gamers like frustrating and overly long games... If "hardcore" games are not supposed to be fun anymore, then I'm now officially a indie retro gamer.... ¬_¬

Speaking of which today I played the WORST game ever, I doubt you want to hear about it, but imagine a game with an instruction booklet that's really an activity book, which you MUST complete to play the game!

Pixel Puns: Health Nut!

Remember, the next time you buy nuts of any kinds, to make sure they're extra healthy, ask if they went to the gym frequently!

Except pecans! Those lazy nuts are sofa spuds!

Pixel Puns: Brainstorm!

The brain looks funny because it's actually cloud with a brain pattern on it, OK? :P

For some reason "Brainstorm" sounds like a heavy metal band to me, a geeky one, probably...

Two gift gifs for the price of one!

These are from left to right: Doug, Miyumi, Maribelle and Hakata from Astronaut Elementary

It's not my best, and I almost didn't make it after seeing the work of a professional pixel artist, but hey, I'm still learning and hopefully improving!

Doug looks like Bomberman though.... :(

ZIPPY DEE DOO! It's Brisco from Robotz of the Company !

Or at least, how I imagine him, because Robotz of the company is audio theater...

Brisco is a cleaner robot who is always happy and cleaning the grimiest gunk makes him the happiest robot in the world!

Anvil Baby!

Aaaaw! What and adowable bundle of joy! XD

And now you know where babies come from too!

I should get bonus points for the "They Might be Giants" reference! The Doctor? They call him Doctor Worm! :)

And thus end the Anvil Romance Saga! They met, they loved, they squished things...

*sniff* I'll miss them... Hmm, should I make them into a strip? With this infinite canvas clause, I could claim it to be my first comic, right? :)

I'm seriously debating whether to subscribe to Audible or not... It's a site where you can get audiobooks, and if you subscribe you get a credit to spend on a book each month.... I'll already listening to the free audiobooks at Podiobooks but... those are running out...

I like printed books, but I'm a pack rat who is running out of room... Audiobooks are looking like a good idea every day! Seriously, I'm still looking for a place for the latest batch of comics I got! :P

A funny thing about audiobooks is the pricing, it seems that they are quite cheap now, and cost about the same as the book, except for the newer ones, I think.... Here's an example, the first Harry Potter book is about 20€, but the latest is 80€! YIKES!

They have a huge library there, they don't have all the audiobooks, they don't have Harry Potter, but they do have almost all the Discworld novels! If I had those on my iPod I'd listen to them as often as I could!

Anvil Honeymoon

Hey, this is my first entry on Blogger, but if you want to see my older stuff just visit my DeviantArt Site or LiveJournal...

What better place to spend their honeymoon then at the beach?

I kinda rushed it a little... Blame it on Sam & Max: Abe Lincoln Must Die...

Which was mostly political humor but at the end it totally made up for it! I don't know if they are getting easier or I'm just starting to think like Sam & Max... :P
